Be ready to ref

Although the season start is postponed to an unknown time, and its format is yet to be determined, the message from your VRRA Committee is Be ready to ref.

In tonight's committee meeting (see those happy faces!) we discussed all the usual portfolio activities and although some things are on hold, in general, our goal is to be ready to ref as soon as games are scheduled.

We regret to inform you that Travis and Nick have had to step down from their committee roles due to work commitments, but in the same breath we welcome Andrew Schwilk to the committee as a (no) ordinary member! Andrew will be adding a new string to his bow, and will be working with RV and the VRRA coaching group, on appointments.

If you haven't done so already - now is a great time to get onto the Learning Center and complete any content that needs updating. Smart Rugby, assistant referee or referee accreditation. Don't worry about the on field assessment - we have a list of you ready to visit as soon as were all on the field - but if you get the exam component done now, that's a great way to be ready to ref.

Heads up - we have another online ed session planned for the 22nd April. More details to come soon.
